Welcome

Created on the 30th of April 2012, Scale World aimed to produce paint charts for colour-blind modellers that were as accurate as possible whilst also being easy to use. As it turned out, these proved to be useful for all modellers and Scale World began to grow.

 

Scale World grew in another direction after I  bought an old kit with no instructions and finding it hard to find a readable instruction book on the internet I started scanning all the instructions and decal sheets from every kit I bought and uploading them on here creating a user friendly reference library which is slowly growing.

Running costs

Back in 2013 Scale World outgrew the limits of a free site so the domain www.scaleworld.info was purchased along with a premium web host package. Unfortunately this meant Scale World had running costs for the first time, so if you've found this site useful, I hope you will help me to keep Scale World running (and advertisement free) by donating by clicking on the "donate" button in the footer of the page.

We are not making a profit, we simply need your help to keep this site running, free for all users and without annoying pop up adverts.

have teamed up to bring you even more instructions!

We are proud to announce a partnership between the Scale World website and the Plastic Model Kit Instructions Facebook page so that we can be the first choice for our worldwide modelling community.

Between our two enterprises we have over two thousand instruction booklets, with more being added every week. It's going to take some time to get all of them sorted out and uploaded on here but if there's a booklet you need and you don't see it on here then simply click on the logo to the right to go to the PMKI Facebook page, put in a request and we will deal with it as soon as possible.
